I've heard from a couple of people that they've missed keeping up with me here. So here's the summary.
Got married. You probably know this already. Amy and I honeymooned on Vancouver Island, which was relaxing but more expensive than we'd expected. Our 13 week anniversery was yesterday, life is beginning to resume a normal pace.
Went to Chicago for
RailsConf. Chicago knocked my socks off, and Amy came, too. We stayed with our friend Meghan, and learned about Midwest hipsterdom. It is like a real city out there.
RailsConf was encouraging, for sure. I rode Amtrak out there with a bunch of developers, met some people I knew only from blogs (and legend, which is a lot like blogs). I'm happy to learn that I'm on the good side of the Bbell curve, Rails-wise.
I've been recording "Alan Singley":http://alansingley.com/ in the basement. The song is called
"It's OK When It's Just You and Me"I've heard a few people talk about the internet lately. You can find my shit *all* over the internet, folks.

STRENGTH record release party on August 10th @ 9pm.
They played my wedding after we'd been working in the basement on this record for over a year. I can't think of any other single project I've ever worked as hard on.
grabb.it my freakin crazy music site. ruby on rails.
http://svn.rtra.in/public my public svn server. svn_tools rake plugin available there. I should really publish it as a gem as well.
wedding guide to portland, something Amy and I threw together for the guests.
I keep snippets.
So, you see, there's more than this blog.
